Saidou Tech’s AIVA ME7 appears in China MIIT filing

Saidou Tech’s first vehicle, the AIVA ME7, has appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s 412th batch of new vehicle filing notices, according to Techub News. The model is described as a mid-to-large pure electric SUV, with a body length close to 5 meters and a wheelbase of more than 3 meters. It will be offered in both a single-motor version rated at 270 kW and a dual-motor version rated at 420 kW, and uses ternary lithium batteries supplied by CATL. The vehicle had previously made its global debut in Paris. Saidou Tech has framed the model around an “AI-defined car” concept, and the company had earlier said its full product lineup would target the mainstream market priced above 200,000 yuan.
